Yes, y’all.
The new album is very close to done. The title is Keep Moving. I have a mix of all the songs but I need to do a proper bass test. An hour sitting in a car should do it. Then I’ll lay everything out, which will take a few hours and the damn thing will be dusted. I may unleash in the coming week and I may not wait until Friday. I mean, who says all albums have to come out on Fridays, right?
The whole time I worked on this album, I kept a diary. It may not be interesting to anyone but I’ll share that in a few days - maybe a day or two before the album drops.
I’m going to go into scramble-mode here in the next few days and will attempt to get all the assets together so that we can set up pre-orders for physical product on the same day the album goes up on Bandcamp for y’all digital dum-dums.
Meanwhile, here’s one of the new songs. This one takes on quasi-holy overtones for me. It has a sacred feel. But don’t worry, most of the album isn’t so stone-faced. It’s a fun one. You’ll see. Anyway, this one is called “Drastic Measures” and it’s on some deep hip hop spirituality business. I hope you like it. Be warned that this is a rough mix and it’s unmastered.
So, yo - watch this space. There will be a flurry of activity in the next few days.
Keep on.
